Megan and Kevin’s Nanaimo Harbour Wedding!

Megan looked stunning in her Essense of Australia sweetheart lace ballgown. The gently pleated tiered skirt floats light as air and features floral lace motifs throughout the glamorous ball gown skirt. She completed the look with a beautiful caramel coloured ribbon sash and a waltz length veil. We love her idea of wrapping delicate lace around the stems in her bouquet!!
Megan's mom Kerren looked glamorous in her one shouldered Sorella Vita gown. We loved the satin draped bodice and chiffon accent on her!
The wedding took place in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and the reception in the Coast Bastion Hotel.
Megan says some of her favorite memories of the day she married her best friend, was the Celtic hand fastening ceremony, dancing the night away with her hubby, friends, and family and that her mom and aunts' wrote and sang a song for her at the reception to the tune of Hallelujah!!
Her mom Kerren sent us a beaufiful note about how special Megan's day was:
"May 10 was a most magical day. To see our beautiful daughter in her gorgeous wedding dress brought both both her dad and I to our knees. During the morning, she was so calm and confident because for her and Kevin, it wasn't so much about the day, but about their life together beyond the day. As I held her face in my hands and looked onto her eyes, my heart was full of love. She was ready. The day was full of meaning and at the same time, one of the best parties! Thank you to the staff at Ladybelle for your exceptional care for both Megan and myself. Your expertise and attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. You honestly care about your clients and are so good at listening. Thank you!!"
We absolutely adored Megan and her mom Kerren - they literally had us bursting with laughter and joy every time we were lucky enough to see them!!
