I just wanted to send you a quick, belated thank you! Not sure if you remember me as it has been almost two years since I was in with my mum and my sisters to look at wedding dresses one chilly December morning. ...
We were actually there for my sister, but she convinced me to try some on as well as I had literally got engaged a couple days before! I live in London normally, my parents lived in China at the time, our younger sister lived in Scotland and my sister lives in Calgary, so she thought it would be nice if we could all go dress shopping while we were together from across the four corners of the globe, even if just for fun.
She found her perfect dress first, and then it was my turn. I was a reluctant participant to be entirely honest as I had absolutely no idea what I wanted and am not especially girlie, but low-and-behold, with your expert help, I found 'the' dress. Total accident as I had no intention of finding anything that day! Add to that the fact that my it was the very first dress I tried on that I walked away with, and you have 'meant to be'.
Fast forward and my sister was married in her beautiful dress in Calgary in October '14, and this July I got married in Cornwall, England to my army officer, wearing my lovely, lacy Justin Alexander.
So, a belated thank you to the ladies who helped us find the right white dresses among all the white dresses. It was a wonderful experience.
